Today, the Summon team announced how our utility token, $SUMMON, will initially be made available.
After long and careful consideration, the decision was made to run what we call our initial Community Token Distribution. It is important to us that the Summon community, which has uplifted our project’s principles and supported the birth of The Summon Platform be meaningfully included.
The date? August 15, 2022! We can barely believe that after all our work, all the overnighters and standups and consultations and coding marathons and meetings, that we’ll be seeing $SUMMON in the hands of the people who care the most about making DAOs accessible to literally any group who wants to have one.
Our news release, announcing the date and basic details of the $SUMMON Community Token Distribution has been received pretty well by the mainstream and business media! It has been thrilling to see august old names like Yahoo! and Yahoo! Finance carry the news, as well as serious business and investor media like Benzinga and Morningstar.
